Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta said at the press conference before the match against Spurs (15 September) that he wanted to check Martin Odegaard again to see if it was as serious as expected. As for Ricardo Calafiori, who was injured on the Italian national team, he wanted him to rest until he fully recovered.

Odegaard suffered an ankle injury playing for Norway against Austria on Monday, with the Gunners seemingly skeptical of the national team’s assessment of a three-to-four-week timeframe and are therefore taking a test themselves, although the results could be another 24 hours.

“We need to check further to see what the real UFABET pain is. Let’s wait and see in the next 1-2 days,” the 42-year-old coach said.

“It’s only noon (local time). We’ll wait for the scan results to come out and we’ll know for sure how bad the injury is and when we can return at the earliest.”

“He’s a guy who tries to look at things positively. We know Martin. He wants to be with the team every day. But this kind of thing has to wait and see.”

“With 48 hours to go before kickoff, players may be available at any time, but we have to wait and see what happens.”

Two other surprises could be striker Gabriel Jesus and defender Riccardo Calafiori, who are out with ankle injuries on international duty with Italy.

“Gabby is out and about, and will have another training session on Saturday. If all goes well, she will be on the roster. That’s great news for us.”

“Ricardo is another one we have to wait and see for another 1-2 days.”
